As a grammar school teacher I had many opportunities to admire and appreciate the spontaneous art of children. Some years ago I decided to explore my own connection to the artistic process and I began to study art appreciation, drawing, watercolors and acrylics. Wonderful teachers, Oneida Hammond, Carolyn Larson, Tom Lynch, Floy Zittin, Mike Bailey, among others, help my imagination run free and pencils and colors materialize my feelings into paper and canvases. Finally I have found renewed connection to early inspiration and to my soul.
