Born and raised in the US, I spent 28 years in Germany before moving to California in 1999. Europe has inspired me with all its beauty, as does California, and the beautiful islands of Hawaii. I am breath-taken by the natural beauty surrounding me, inspiring me to use bold colors.
Ever since childhood, I have been fascinated by the creativity and art of all cultures. Over the years, I have tried many different media: Silk painting, watercolors, acrylics, quilting, crocheting, window glass art, mosaics, decoupage, Ukrainian egg painting, and so much more. Creativity is my life; I’m always on a quest.
Silk is a wonderful medium, and can be used for many purposes. Its texture and glow is unsurpassed. To achieve brilliant colors, I use European silk dyes. All painted silk is hand washable.
