Jewelry
Lin designs her jewelry from an artist’s perspective, focusing on color and shape to create unique and fashionable jewelry at affordable costs. Yet, she is concerned with using quality materials; she uses semiprecious stones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, sterling silver, and 14k gold filled wires in her pieces.

Lin started making jewelry late in 2005. She strives to show her individual feelings in her jewelry; her jewelry are neither too showy nor too plain and neither too simple nor complicated, so it’s easy going with any outfit. Each piece of Lin’s jewelry is unique and will make wearer feel the same.

Painter
Born and educated in Taiwan, Lin Ching Peng earned a bachelor degree of Fine Arts from the Chinese Culture University. Now she is an art instructor and freelance artist.
She has created many works of art in watercolor and pastel, but her absolute favorite is painting in oil.
Lin spends a lot of time studying light, value, color, perspective, and composition. She has excellent craftsmanship and artistic quality which make her paintings lyric and beautiful. Lin is a great admirer of nature so landscapes are her favorite subject to paint. The land, trees, hills, mountains, water, ocean and sky express her feelings and emotions, so her paintings have life and movement which touch viewers’ heart. Most of the landscape paintings were painted in location such as open space preserves, parks, ocean view, vineyards and some suburban area. Lin’s landscape paintings present the California scene with color harmony, light, energy, composition, and sense of atmosphere.
She also loves to paint floral and still life. Lin loves to paint something that inspires her. In order to achieve the perfect mood, Lin spends hours to set up a still life arrangement. Her still life paintings represent good composition, quality of light, color vibration, and airy depth. She blends the oriental thought with the western skill and knowledge which presents a unique personal style.
Lin is member of Los Altos Art Club. She has many years teaching experience. Painting and teaching are the job she loves to do.
